You should chill out mate. Who said he's going to go on strike. The guy said maybe he could. And I said he's threatened it in the past.Comment

But it's just bollocks. Whatever is or isn't happening, until there confirmation from a horses mouth, he's still our player.
Throwing random **** at him without solid foundation is a **** act.
It disgusts me that we can turn on our own so quickly and easily.

I read it more like he was saying that he has the capacity to do that and he has, he showed it when he didn't get his way in Holland. But it's just bollocks. Whatever is or isn't happening, until there confirmation from a horses mouth, he's still our player.

And as for fans turning on him, sorry but people are entitled to be thoroughly pissed off with a player they've supported for two and a half years in light of some pretty ****ty things he's done only to have him flirting across the ocean with another frigging club. He's acting like a cunt and, in large parts, being treated like one.Comment

I personally don't think that £40m is enough.
I also think under no circumstances will we sell to Arsenal, and nor should we. I believe that terrible offer was a case of Wenger and co "reminding" the fans that they have a "warchest" so when Wenger signs an unknown he can be like, well we tried for Suarez and Higuain.
Every summer for several years now the press and others talk about this huge warchest that Wenger has to spend but in actuality Arsenal always end up selling to buy. A lot of their fans have become frustrated with this situation and it seems like Wenger and the boards solution to this is make bids for big name players(Higuain and Suarez) which they have no intention of signing just to so they can tell the fans after they sign no big names ''We have the money and we tried so hard but player x's agent was too difficult for us to negotiate with''.
Everton have been doing this recently too(Negredo last Januray IIRC).Comment
