I know it sounds like tinfoil hat time, but it is pretty much every day the Mirror is running Suarez to Arsenal, based on what seems like nothing more than that quote of his a few weeks back re. their interest being flattering, and obviously inside encouragement from the Arsenal camp. Considering that the money that we could gain getting into CL could be more than we get for Suarez, then we would be absolutely bonkers to sell to Arsenal.

Everyone keeps saying "£50m or don't sell", but lets be honest he's not worth that. If he conducted himself well and didn't bring the baggage then £50m would be fair, but £40m is what he'll be worth at most.

For that price, I don't think he'll sell to a fellow PL club and only a select few clubs out there could pay over £40m for him because the fee would be pocket change for them.

Maybe it does, but as i said, we have a player that's keen to join them, i'd rather lose 10mill on the value of Suarez, than sell him to Arsenal for more, may sound wrong to some, but i think not strengthening Arsenal with a player of Suarez's quality, is a more important issue at the moment in time we now find ourselves.

If we could sell him for more elsewhere fair enough, just not sure it'll be abroad if we don't sell to Madrid.

I think it may be the best type of deal the club can do if no club apart from Arsenal will pay near what we want cash.

I'm not sure that the Chavs won't come calling too though, i can't believe that they wouldn't want a player like him, i also don't believe all that crap from Maureen about them being after one player and one player only, that being Rooney.

Nope, it wouldn't surprise me at all if out nowhere we heard Suarez to Chavs was on, and within a couple of days he was gone.
