Let's see how this pans out. Michael Owen played some preseason friendlies before ****ing off to Real Madrid.

Considering he's reportedly spouted off all kinds of ****e recently, I'd say a lot more than you think.

He could say "no comment" which would just add to the mystery.

If his intentions are true, then it shouldn't take long for some sort of announcement that Suarez is not now looking to leave.

Of course he could mean 'i'm staying...100%, because the club wont let me leave and i have a contract'... which would be different, and could change by the day.

either way, too soon to get excited.

Phew - panic over everyone - he's staying!!!

          Cheers

Not so sure, having just watched his arrival at Sydney airport, the Fox sports folks asked him questions and he just looked blank, I reckon he is off

For the recorded the questions asked were:
'you looking forward to linking up with your LFC team mates?'
'Should LFC fans still be buying your shirt?'

and he just carried on walking looking blank, uttering not a word

if he were definitely staying why not say it in front of the press......much easier to tell a handful of supporters what they want to hear isn't it?

one other thing - he flew into Sydney, and not into Melbourne. He may have however flown into Melbourne later (4 flights from Sydney to Melbourne per hour), but i reckon he is still in Sydney.

The meeting between LFC and Suarez will be

              'I want out'
'Not until we get the fee we want'

Therefore you'd hope Suarez doesn't rock the boat because it's possible (likely?) no club will match our valuation.

Unless he's been instructed not to speak with the press as they keep twisting what he says .

I could understand him being diplomatic with the fans, but the wording is a bit too firm to be taken as just that.

Goodness me, looking at the pictures if we didn't know better anyone would think he had just got off a long flight to Australia

I think the situation is the same as it has always been. If we get an offer approaching £50m from Real (or someone similar abroad), he'll probably be off. If not, and it doesn't look all that likely at the moment, he'll give us another season and play his heart out because he doesn't know another way.

So much of this has been blown up bigger than it should have been by the media frenzy for a "sensational" transfer of a player they already love to write about.

According to Aeropuerto de Carrasco website there are no flights to Melbourne

I know Suarez is a malevolent super evil genius on the football pitch but I do not think we can hold trans-ocean flight schedules against him - no matter how much he does or does not gob off to the press

Que? If you mean me that obviously wasn't a response to you. Or I would have quoted you. Like this.

Besides, it is impossible to be wooshed by you as your default posting position in this forum, which you have dedicated long hours to ensuring everyone knows, is most definitely NOT serious.
