We don't know that. As it stands by the look of it Guardiola say that the clause exist and we will have to accept a £40m+ bid and the club says that the clause may or may not exist or that the clause only force us to allow Arsenal to talk to him.



We will probably find that out very soon if a club decides to take it to court.

Henry's tweet pretty much shows that the clause is according to the club's interpretation, that we have to inform Suarez about offers, but we can reject them.

I'm pretty confident he's staying now. No one else appears to want to offer what we want, so I reckon we can breathe a little sigh of relief.

I have no doubt in my mind at all on that, it's a foregone conclusion imo, and there is a long long time left in this window.

I am still bemused and not convinced by Arsenal's offer and interest. Clearly they had targeted Higuain earlier in the window and it seems did not want to pay £25m for the player, yet are prepared to go over £40m for Luis when their interest has only been very recent. Luis is different class but something just does not stack up.
