We are not exactly short of players to play an attacking role. Most of our forward players can do it for a start.

Would be very strange if we tried to sign Soldado considering that we most probably could have signed Mario Gomez a lot cheaper earlier in the window before he moved to Fiorentina.

Where do you think we'd be? I liked Young before he joined United, but I don't see either adding enough to our team to significantly improve us.

I rate Gomez as the best penalty box striker in the world. He isn't exactly that great at anything else to say the least but he scores a massive amount of goals every season.
