That is the problem in a nutshell, whether we get £40M for Suarez or £100M for him we are going to be in the same predicament attracting players to join, That Armenian fella wouldn't even meet with us.

We've struck gold with Coutinho, we got Suarez for a snip but we can't keep doing this as these players are so rare to find, the chances are we are far more likely to getting the Downings of this world as that's the scenario we find ourselves in.

You show the players loyalty by paying them what they are worth.

not really it's about getting players and nurturing their talent...take Coutinho...totally different player to the one at Inter why ? due to Br and lfc ...there is plenty of talent out there ...we'll get back to the top even if it means doing it the hard way by not having a sugar daddy

Put it this way. If he wasn't a highly valuable salable asset then the club would have been very keen to get rid. All this trash about standing by players is daft. It's all about protecting your investment and posturing to get the most money out of getting rid of them

Has that BBC story just changed its headline as I can see nothing about being allowed to talk to Arsenal in it at all or any quotes other than those of BR

I reckon we'll accept £45m from Arsenal and then Madrid will bid the same amount.

This quagmire makes me feel as if I wasted a lot of time hating Torres. He acted like a prat but there's no comparison. I will not be as heartbroken when Suarez leaves though because his behavior has massively reduced any affection I may have had for him. He doesn't seem worthy of my support at the moment.

Should be prepared for that week in week out if he's forced to stay.

To those that say he couldn't play any way other than at 110%
