The Premier LEague will not be in a position to make a legally enforceable decision on employment contract law, surely?Football without Origi is nothingComment

They are making out the PL can arbitrate ie solve a conflict. But this is contractual. Liverpool should have no incentive to allow the fools at PL to adjudicate. Tell Suarez to go to a tribunal. That will take ages. This is an employment contract issue. The only reason we should go to the PL is to report Arsenal
I seriously hope we take a firm stance. Henry's tweet gave me some faithComment

As long as we have the contract watertight. Ayre and the lawyers need to be all over it.Comment

Wonder if we still have a good relationship with Pere the snake? Didnt he tell Sky after Suarez quotes in Uruguay that Luis was happy at LFC?
Rodgers said they only have to iform Suarez of the bid. That coupled with JWH tweet is giving me confidence that we hold the upper hand. Would be hugely embarssing if we were wrong now. HugelyComment

TBF, this is a bit of a misnomer. People always say it and while the whole no quotes or even using the vague "a well-placed source said..." gives scope for total BS, journalists get told stuff off the record all the time. Suarez's camp will want this stuff known so they'll feed the press with off-the-record briefings. Not saying this report is true but it'd be folly to totally disregard it. FWIW it seems clear to me that this is his stance and it's going to get ugly. Thanks very much for beingComment
