It's still a problem though. How are we to progress if every time we pick up a quality player we promise them they can leave if we don't get CL football.
Especially when we have fallen behind Tottenham, Arsenal and to an extent Everton.
Meaning that including us there's 4 teams battling for 4th place, I think everyone agress that City, United and Chelsea aren't going to finish outside the top 4.
