Surely this very interview is a breach of his written contract with the club?

If relations hadn't already gotten beyond point of no return, they surely have now.

Agree with others, transfer request next and club to hold firm until interest from anyone but Arsenal.

Ahhh, modern football. Where, after only 18 months, you show loyalty to a club whose good name your behavious has dragged through the mud by signing a new 4 year contract with the intention of leaving twelve months later for below your market value no matter what the club wants or thinks.

Frankly, the sooner this fella is out of our club the better. **** Arsenal though, seriously there must be someone else out there with £40,000,002 to spend. Or maybe the fact that there doesn't seem to be, despite his wonderful ability on the pitch, speaks volumes in itself.

Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
              Mine angry and defrauded young?

People slagged him off because of facts and his actions, simple as that

Amazing to think that clubs know he wants to leave and there only appears to be a solitary club bidding. His baggage has clearly not gone unnoticed.

Well with this interview we might see some more bids come in hopefully from others

Im still expecting a bid from Real, i imagine they are just sitting back looking at how this plays out.

They are in a stronger position than Arsenal in this.

I support the club. Not any owner, player or manager.

I just don't happen to believe everything that our owners or manager say. They will defend the club just as they should do and if it means lying then it is their job to lie.

Rafa probably lied a lot of times defending the club.

                          What a cunt (From Jan):
Right at the end of the interview, Luis Suarez delivers the line that will bring some light to a rather dark week at Liverpool Football Club.

Asked what he will do if Liverpool do not qualify for the Champions League this season, Suarez is cryptic at first. And then, unexpectedly, categorical.

'I will wait until the end of the season and see how we are doing,' he says. 'We won't know until then how we are doing and what our position is so I am prepared to wait until that time.

'But I want to say now that, if you want to know what will happen to me if we don't qualify for the Champions League, then I will say this: I have a contract with Liverpool and I am very happy here. I will stay.'

I really cannot see any other major club in Europe bidding close to the amount we want now.

He is too much trouble, too much baggage off the pitch to justify such a significant outlay.

It is a bit **** though really. Understandably think we all got into defending him unconditionally even when he was/is wrong. Great player but a huge cunt of a person really
