To be fair there was an abundance of evidence to suggest he was a toad and had no respect for the club and the supporters.. i hope now that with this interview no media witch hunt, no press agenda, nothing lost in translation that people will finally stop ****ing defending him
As i said before he is out for himself, pure individual that doesn't play for the crest. Guy is a feel sorry for me merchant that really hasn't accepted the full responsibility of what he has done to the club.
I wasn’t gonna bite, but seeing as there is so much gloating, I’ll make a simple point and get quotes at a later date if required.
My posts were less in defence of Suarez (I was happy to give him the benifit of the doubt) but more aimed at highlighting the hypocrisy of some supporters that defended or excused everything he did on the pitch, but now because he is trying to engineer a move away, they are denying that that’s what’s bothering them, instead going back and contradicting what they previously argued at the time of the incidents.
I took a quick look at your posts in the racism thread and every one defended Suarez at the time and you even specifically said he doesn’t dive and isn’t a cheat. Obviously people are allowed to change their opionion as more evidence comes to light, but I’m pretty sure if I checked more posts it would be a similar theme, all excusable until he made it clear he wants to leave. (And you’re far from the only one)
You can still deny that if you want, pretend you were always condemning and righteous throughout, but we can easily find out once all this dies down.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?Comment

I was defending him, and I still think it was right to do so. I just think it was wrong to call him names before there was evidence, even if they did turn out to be right in the end.
The next time rumours fly around about one of our players I'll defend them again until I'm sure. Loyalty is something I value.
The ultimate irony was people calling him a disloyal prick before it was based on fact.Comment

It's ten pages since I last looked yesterday and frankly I have better things to do than catch up on a lot of grown men swearing.
One question though: is the consensus here to ignore what he reportedly says about being promised last summer he could leave this summer if we hadn't qualified for the CL or do people generally believe there might be some truth in the story?.
