I'm cracking up here.
Suarez will never have to take any responsibility for anything ever now, not as long as some will try to excuse his actions.
Seriously Arn, please don't try to make out we've got some grown man with the mental age of a pre-teen. It does a dis-service to him, not too mention it slights those in society with real, genuine mental issues. Those who really can't assume their own actions.
What we have is a spoilt footballer, albeit a good one, whose self-entitlement is matched only by his ambition. Don't try to psychoanalyse him, because you don't know him.........you can only judge him for his actions.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?Comment

Totally agree, I typed something similar out but it was no where near as well put as this.*Except Michael, who died.Comment

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.Comment

I think Suarez's lack of media savvy has contributed to his problems and that for me is entirely down to the failings of of new Director of Communications. Shoddy work by her.Just made my 1000th post in this thread, Arn. Is there a prize?
I never abused him for having issues. I've abused him for being a rat. In an article yesterday it was indicated that he's spurned a number of offers by the club to help him out.
In reality besides having anger management issues and being a childish tosser who throws his toys out of the pram when he does not get things his own way, I don't think there is very much else wrong with himA lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.Comment

I didn't say that he will never have to take any responsibility for his actions. What I said is that he said that his wife helped him out a lot a few times when he had problems. Some people need that help sometimes.

Some people get bad advice. We don't have a clue if this is case now do we.
He being a player that play for us and have played for other clubs don't make him more intelligent than if he been a doctor etc.
He can have mental problems just like everyone else can have.
We don't know if he have mental problems do we.
We clearly don't excuse his actions. He have offered him help. We don't know the reasons to why he turned down that help. Maybe he don't trust the club, who knows.
Podolski had mental problems and didn't play for months because of it. He isn't exactly alone. Players even kill themself because they have mental problems.
They get paid a lot of money and I mean a lot but in many cases it make the situation even worse. It makes them think that they will get away with everything.
I don't protect him.
We don't know the reasons to why he acts like he done. We only know what the media reported and the club will twist the story and so will Suarez.
We don't know if they had a gentleman agreement. If it exist then there is no way that Rodgers or the club will ever admit it IMO.Stop the cyberhate

Who cares? not having a go at you Sarb, but what does if matter if 100% of arsenal fans think they will sign suarez? in reality what effect does it have on anything?Piers Morgan referred to Henry as a "windbag" mentioning the Torres thing to back himself up. I said this morning that the number of journos thinking he'll still go to Arsenal is bizarre. Porky Parry this morning was saying that JWH stuffed himself and will have to sell to Arsenal.
I just don't get it. Its the same as when our fans go on other clubs message boards and re-post on here as if in some way a few fans saying something on any given subject is in any way representative of all of them. You only to have to look on here, to see plenty think differently. On the internet LFC are no better or worse than fans of any other clubs. I know we like to think of ourselves as superior and more knowledgeable but its bollocks it really is.
At the ground itself we may be more patience than some fans of other clubs. But we're just as quiet as most and are reguarly out sung by the likes of Portsmouth & Stoke.
Its a constant points scoring. Yet its so ****ing pointless.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He wonComment

IMO the clubs protect the players to much and because of that the players think that they will get away with it.
Less protection and the players will need to take more responsibility.
Some players need a good spanking sometimes but instead the clubs protect them. They players know that the club need to protect the image of the club.
They live in their own mega rich fantasy world.
I moan a lot at our players as you know but that is because I don't see them as any better than you or me. They aren't any better than you or me. They play for the club I love but that don't make them better than you or me.
So many other people out there deserves a lot more respect than some players that kick around a ball and earn a small fortune every week.
Gerrard will probably play his whole career for us and he deserves a lot of respect for that but so do many other people that work their socks off every day doing a lot tougher job.Stop the cyberhate

We'd struggle to spend whatever we got for Suarez now, but still, a £50m plus bid from Madrid would be difficult to turn down
Do Madrid have any strikers we'd be able to replace Suarez with? Can't see them letting Benzema go, nor him wanting to come here even if they did
Anyone else? Ozil? That wonderkid Rodriguez?I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wetComment

At football Arn they are, believe me they are. At being human beings most are one lucky break away from appearing on Jeremy Kyle.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He wonComment
God, the hours of my life I won't get back because I didn't think of that earlier.
