All part of the dance. Suarez needs to make LFC keeping him as untenable as possible, since that's his easiest way out. Making an apology makes him staying tenable. Hence, no apology.

    We'll stay strong.

Exactly this. We will break him.

6 games to miss is 5 weeks kicking your heels on the sidelines, add training alone for the duration and a cyberhate campaign will break him... Anyway it's world cup year and even Suarez needs games to have any modicum of form...

There's a good chance that Uruguay won't qualify for the world cup. They've been poor since the copa America.
          Oh I don't know.

Surely now he's burned all bridges. Would be very surprised to see any comments still giving him the benefit of the doubt

I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt.

Personally I think publicising the idea of him needing to apologise was too much (although I can't remember exacty what was said and if it wasn't said then ignore me). It's a power move and just makes him feel more grieved unnecessarily. All sides will need to let this blow over as quietly as possible ultimately.

"Initially there will be a recognition that [there needs to be] an apology to his team-mates and the club," said Rodgers when asked what the striker needs to do next.

That's fine but it can and should be done internally, no need for a public apology IMO,

Maybe that's what BR intends, i certainly don't expect Suarez to issue a public apology, it will likely just be a club announcement that he's back in the sqaud, and everything is sorted.

Not good enough - I want him to personally apologise to me & say sorry for the amount of time I've wasted reading this thread

Agreed, but private is public these days anyway.

Same way he used the media to since early in the summer to try and get his move, he should have no problem using the same platform for anything he wants to say to Liverpool fans, but all things considered, I'd say Rodgers would be happy with it kept indoors.

Better yet, would be Real coming in with their moolah so we can avoid any of this.
