Not really trying to defend him here, just playing devils advocate.

We all know he's capable of moments of insanity, which I'm sure he regrets afterwards, he just get's blinded and doesn't think.

So let's say he's never stopped appreciating the fans or the club, he's just had his manager whisperring sweet nothings and turning the screws when he's had one of his momenst to make sure it dragged on.

He's come to his senses, sacked his manager because of his manipulation, and said he's staying because of the fans.

Of course it's just as likely he's realised he's not going anywhere, sacked his manager for screwing up his release clause, and he's now crawling trying to patch things up.

A HUGE development has taken place in the Luis Suarez transfer saga, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

According to highly regarded Uruguay journalist Martin Charquero, Luis Suarez will be staying at Liverpool this summer.

Believed to be very close to Suarez, Charquero has revealed the striker’s intentions of signing a new contract at Liverpool after a stormy summer.

The support of the Liverpool fans has reportedly been the major reason for Luis Suarez’s supposed change of heart.

Arsenal fans will be understandably devastated after Wenger opted not to sign Gonzalo Higuain in order to bring in Luis Suarez. Both are now unavailable.

Although this is only one journalist’s word, Charquero is very reputable and has close ties with Luis Suarez.
