I don't think he'll ever go (barring the later stages in his career), just because he's the main man here. He's not gonna be the main man at Madrid. Then the relationship he has with us. He'll never get this back anywhere else. Think he thrives on that.

I think he'll be gone in the summer if we finish 5th....he just doesn't expect that to happen given where we are now.

Great news though. At the very least we'll get £20-30m more for him if he does decide to go in the summer. Hopefully we'll keep doing what we're doing and he'll be here until he decides to go home to Uruguay.

I'd love to know the ins and outs of the Suarez situation over the last six months. How much real truth was there in the Arsenal thing and what's made him do a u turn? Was it just about money all along. Still,absolutely ecstatic he's staying for the time being and gotta be good news with a view to attracting top players in January and in the Summer. Lot of rival fans gonna be mighty pissed off at this news.
