All this talk of Sturridge being greedy. At Cardiff, I've no complaints. 5-3 up with minute remaining, clean through and on a hat trick. That's fair enough. But last night, at 2-0, he had a couple of chances to lay off to team mates and was trying the ridiculous. I know he's a genius, I know I shouldn't moan, but that could have cost us the title.

I think our strikers need to remember that they'll only be regarded as great players if the team actually wins something. Get the game won then play like ****s.

I thought you meant Sturridge and was going to vehemently disagree, but Suarez against Sunderland was back to the Suarez of two years ago - trying to do it all himself and not looking for a teammate. I think the goal scoring records may be going to his head, and as you said it might have cost us the game (and might still cost us the title).

He seemed a little bit eager to please last match, it might have been the atmosphere in the ground but he certainly tried to do too much on his own against Sunderland which with the way they set themselves up was always going to be tricky.

Let's hope Sherwood decides to us the 'lets 'ave 'em' approach this Sunday.

To be fair Daniel has done it to him too a number of times (as well as setting each other up) it's just part of being a forward

i'm hoping that now sturridge has got to 20 league goals and how suarez reacted at the final whistle on weds (fist pump in relief and joy) that the pair have realised the priority is for the team to win
