I'm sure that years ago when we signed him he said that joining Barca, not Real, was his ultimate dream. Would make a lot more sense to given that that's where his in laws all live.

    Edit: Found it: http://www.espnfc.com/story/931673/l...-for-barcelona

Re: Suarez to Barça, I know they are a class team, but I feel, with an unproven manager, older players on the wane, and likely selling off a lot of class players, we may be a better prospect for Luis in terms of thriving as a striker. We've built the team around him. Barça will always be built around Messi. Yes, the city is spectacular and there is a ton to be said for living as a multi-millionaire in a place you love, and the club will never be bad and will always be near the top in Spain, but I can't help feeling the year he had last year for us would never be duplicated there... Same at Real. Also, it's not like Benzema is on the wane-- he's been fantastic. I dunno. something to be said for being the centerpiece at a club full of young players, on the rise, in the CL, great manager who will be there for years (I hope), etc.

            I agree Brooklyn,

Think he will give us at least a season, see who we sign this summer ....see if we challenge for the premiership and the champions league this season.

If we won the premiership last season he may have gone, but the affinity we have with him and his winning mentality might just see him give us another season or 2 here.

Messi and Neymar are the at Barca already, Bale and Ronaldo at Real (and Benzema etc.) not sure either team will go for him this summer really.

If Barca bid for him and he wants to go, fine, but I'm not sure they'll go for him.
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Barca are after Higuain and Real want Falcao. They won't go for either and Luis.

Hard to say. Suarez has leant into a shoulder with his head and the Italian player is pulling his sleeve down showing the referee a bite mark (mebbe). The camera angle is behind the incident, so you can only see the back of Suarez's head and his forward movement.

Godin - who should be serving a one match ban - is on the brink if taking Uruguay through.

                            Which is good news.

If he did it, he should be ****ed out of the World Cup.

Need a better angle. .... Chiellini is a knob granted, but FFS.
