Elbows, stamps, kicks & bad tackles don't seem to be punished anywhere near as bad as bites so I would encourage him to explore other avenues if he needed to retaliate (or get his retaliation in first)

First order of the day for LFC if he is to stay is to make him wear a gumshield it will at least make it more difficult for him to bite

It is. But what is staggering is the number of people blaming all and sundry before Suarez.

If he plays for us he should be roundly booed. He has not given a thought about us. He risked everything to play in the world cup even after ****ing his knee. We now lose him for more games. I'm veering towards this way of thinking. I know there's support for a player who's been amazing, but being negative about the World Cup, FIFA, UEFA and anyone who dares to make an example of him is stupid. The ban was always going to be domestic as well otherwise he could have announced his international retirement and made a mockery of any punishment.

The club now needs to find money to replace him and look forwards.
