General gist for those of us not on the emerald isle?

Basically saying that it seems the apology as many have been saying for the benefit of Suarez/Barca. Hamann saying that obviously everyone wants the best players at the club but there has to be a level of conduct there.

They said after his first statement which showed zero remorse/wrong doing, this statement looks a bit ridiculous... but maybe if he has of said it straight after the game, the ban may of not have been so severe. Hamann has been on RTE the whole tournament... brilliant pundit seems spot on.

It's been very interesting looking at the panel in this tournament. Most notciably for me is how aggressive Kenny Cunningham is & his weird eyebrow movements when he talks

Seems Cunningham & Sadlier are trying very hard to be heard. Sadlier very well spoken & not the worst actually.

Well impressed with Didi, was a bit biased with Muller diving for the Pepe headbutt, but IMO he has been quality.. good banter too.

Wow. Some real reaching by everyone concerned here. He apologised, so it means Barca must have asked him to. No chance then that JWH or BR called him and told him to apologise to the football world then? In order to help get the ban reduced. Course not, because why wouldn't they have announced that they told him to on Twitter.

He should have not apologised then, because no one believes him anyway. Anyone notice that anything he does right now, means he's off to Barca.

Jesus, I so want him to stay, just to see so many of these ITKs on twitter backtracking.
