well it's looking more and more likely now.

personally i've made peace with it - i've enjoyed watching him play and he is class but **** it - i am not hurting/angry like was last summer when it was dragging on and on with Arsenal.

my main concern is LFC and providing we don't bend over for Suarez or Barca (which i don't think we will) then great.

Ideally i'd like to get Sanchez in a part ex - he's not suarez but he's clearly a very good player and would give us a good attacking replacement as well as getting a decent fee for suarez.

        starting midfield/attack of

        -----------------------gerrard------------------------
        -----------------henderson-----lallana----------------

        sterling----------------sturridge--------------sanchez

        with cover/competition from

        lucas
        can
        allen

        coutinho
        lambert
        Another?

would still be very good/strong - use the suarez money to add a cb/lb and all in we could have a net spend of next to nothing once we ship out aspas/borini/kelly etc

if we can't get Sanchez then we need to be asking for a minimum of £80m.

Also - guarentee that his ban will get reduced if he goes to barca

Looks like he is leaving, oh well. As long as we replace him with a defence that concedes 30 odd goals a season less, I will be happy...

Sanchez is a similar player but I think most of his work, while still very effective, hinders his attacking potential. He's been all over the place for Chile - helped back in midfield and defense, popped up on both wings. Maybe the idea is to have Sturridge/Lambert as the focal point of our attack and have runners all around them. Shaqiri can go into those very little holes in packed defenses, but he's a tad bulky and will require a thinner frame.

So the twitter rumours are £50m plus Sanchez.

I think we should push for more than that.

If Sanchez were to play for us, I think he wouldn't be assuming so much of the attacking/defending from the front responsibilities. If he plays alongside Sturridge, it'd be similar to the partnership Studge has with Suarez. If he plays as the lone #9, he'd be propped by the likes of Sterling, Lallana, Coutinho, Shaqiri/Markovic. If Lambert is the lone striker, he'll likely be a #10 or #11 in support.

Plenty of good-looking options with him around.
I wear my heart on my profile name.
