All this talk of Suarez being miles better than Torres at his peak is absolute arse. Two brilliant but very different players, one with serious temperament problems, the other who (understandably) got pissed off with the state of the club and the broken promises. To those who point to Suarez scoring more, I point to Torres doing it against tougher opponents in more important games. His record against United, Chelsea, City and Arsenal was way better, plus he did it against the likes of Real Madrid as well.

That's hardly fair, Suarez scored against every team in the league, but didn't have many 'important' games for us. He scored in cup finals in Holland and in the Copa America final. This myth that he only performed against poor teams is completely false.

There should be no tears shed for Luis. A fantastic player for Liverpool, but he was never one of us.

I don't believe for a minute we've only got £60m for Suarez, I'd like to see what the Liverpool based journalists say before I take this as gospel
