I read something earlier that the hold up is nothing to do with us or Barcelona, but more do with FIFA's four month ban and what it exactly entails. When Barcelona have successfully translated it and got some clarity on all the issues, the transfer should then progress.

Yep. We put in a release clause. The release clause was met. By Barcelona who aren't direct competition and have always been his dream club. You can't argue with that really.

Yet still it's going to hurt seeing him play for someone else.

I still maintain the ban is completely out of proportion to the offence. Ridiculous.

Sure is. Obviously won't affect us as he's off, so I'm less bothered....but really I don't want him banned for 4 months. It's absolutely ridiculous.
