I agree, but I think we'd take it. I'd be impressed if we turned down a £50m+ bid from anyone. Personally I want us to keep Suarez and bring in some more quality. That might not be feasible, but I suppose if we were bidding in the region of £25m for Mickey then we still have the spending power to bring in at least one quality midfielder if we keep Suarez.

One more bite or any other nasty incident will end his chances of playing for a top club in Europe. No club will want to spend money on a player who regularly does that.

Given his obvious quality, I am surprised at the lack of suitors for him given the number of high money transfers. I think the Ivanovic bite has affected his prospects far more than we expected.

After his world cup performance, I believe the biting incident in Holland could be one reason why we never ended up in a bidding war with other clubs for his services. No one wanted to take the risk.
