None about Suarez though.Originally posted by Sarb View PostAnd do you ever post anything that isnt a sarcastic dig? Do you ****
Plenty positive posts on transfers, twitter threads
If i had a sarcastic dig every time you had a pop at suarez i'd be completely sarced out.
Most of us have had to put up with ill informed idiots constantly having the same tired and often baseless digs at him in the real world without having to hear the same ones on here where you'd think we were safe from them.
Why did you choose to post that "word on the street" was him blanking Gerrard's dinner?
It's like you have a batphone next to your PC that rings every time someone even hints at misedeeds by him.
If he stays won't you feel a bit silly?Glass Half Full

Ok so I'm not past caring - I want us to be back to being the top club AND also have a team of proper home grown players who hopefully will have more loyalty.Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View Postone of these is wrong.
Someone had their photo taken with him at Lime St on Twitter so I had hoped he was on his way there.
People can only have the benefit of the doubt for so long....

Wait until your brother finds out that Suarez bit someone!Originally posted by Marina View PostJust need to get something off my chest.
My eldest brother is visiting and tonight we had a massive argument about Liverpool. He used to follow football as a teenager, but he's since become an "intellectual" and doesn't have much time for it anymore. I found out tonight that he was done with it once and for all after the Suarez-Evra incident. To give some context, he hasn't followed the club legitimately for many years, so his knowledge of what actually happened is peripheral. He did not spend week after week (as I did) following the media and the ultimately very damaging fallout that occurred as a result of the incident.
Anyway, tonight he asked me how I could support a player like Suarez, who is so clearly a racist. He brought up the "I don't talk to blacks" quote from Evra's testimony, taking it as proven fact. Don't think he was aware that it was hearsay. Anyway, he started saying that I am a participant in a process that glosses over racism and treats footballers like they are exempt from basic morality all for the goal of winning. I started telling him that it wasn't so black and white, that there was a lot he didn't know, and that I resented his lecturing as someone who has read one or two articles, whereas I spent a lot of my time getting all of the details and trying to ascertain what actually happened. As we all know, what happened is unclear. One man's word against another's. He wondered how I could defend a player, and wondered how football fans could be so corrupt, supporting teams that supposedly condone this sort of behavior (Chelsea, Liverpool, etc).
As I said, we had a massive fight. Really bad. I'm currently in tears. It's not worth getting so upset about a football team, but it really, really makes me feel awful when my morality is called into question because of the club I support. Makes me feel like ****.
Anyway, I dunno. I just felt that you lot might be able to understand, given that you have followed the club through the entire ordeal.
That rug really tied the room together.

Had the quotation marks so you were quoting me. No need to dumb down on my account mate. Not only did you attribute a quote to me that I didnt make, you then used it as a basis to talk about a ****ing batphoneOriginally posted by fidget View PostMe saying "word on the street" was a dig.

Anyway, I posted the rumour. Like I said, not sure whether it was true or not. If it got you overly upset and down then I apologise
I think we are both a bit too old to get involved in a forum war (and I dont really have the desire to). So apologies for calling you a prat. Im off for the night
