I'd rather not win than win with him in.
Oh right. Well, I know what you mean, it's all very unedifying but I rather agree with Jumbo's view - as long as he's in red, etc.

I don't care about the biting really, it just makes him look like a tool or a kid, depending on whether it was calculated or done in the heat of the moment. The racist abuse, yes, but I do feel there's a danger of overplaying it. If he did it again then that would be it for me, there could be no excuse a second time.

And at least we aren't managed by an avowed fascist.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I doubt that he will make an apology.

The question is if Rodgers made a gentlemans agreement or not. I doubt that we will ever know the answer.

The club or Rodgers would never admit it even if they made a gentlemans agreement IMO. To much money involved and one of our rivals involved.

The risk is always that other players is on Suarez side in this mess. Then the manager have a big problem if that is the case.

Lots of footballers have an eye for the main chance but not all footballers are like him, in any shape or form. He stands out in his huntishness, surely? Is there any point at which we'll say we've have enough? I passed that point a while ago.

Edit: don't buy the foreign thing either, most of the press are happy to wank off anyone who isn't British and not even ask for a turnaround.

              Yeah. Spooky, eh?

One of my friends was called Spooky. We were in obedience class together. Nice dog. Never did as he was told though. One day he was left in class and no one came to pick him up. And then the vet came to put him down.

              True story.

He certainly takes his huntishness to another level. English players like Gerrard and Fowler cheated to gain an advantage when they got the opportunity. The media are xenophobes, they see Suarez as a dirty foreigner. I thought he was a decent bloke, now I think he's not quite the person I thought he was. Anyway. If he comes back into the team and he plays as well as he can then I'm not going to complain. I don't like him, but he's our star player and he can make a difference. I don't like my boss, but he's my boss and I'm part of a team.

Fair enough. Although, if my boss was agitating away I'd make sure reception was clear and the revolving doors were oiled. I may not be much of a team player at the moment. Maybe my work life is creeping into my personal life

I often wonder how Rafa would have dealt with Suarez.
