Rodgers defended Suarez against some diving allegations, when the guy was indeed getting booked or denied penalties for clear fouls. He has also gone down far too easily, as do many players, the point Rodgers made (which still stands) was that it is unfair for referees (and the media) to pre-judge incidents because it is him. That is basically all the author has, barring 2 other perfectly reasonable and unassociated comments, which in both cases I can see no problem with whatsoever, I mean hell, what is a manager supposed to say about his best player? I hardly see how that even remotely comes close to "endless indulgence"

Luis Suarez is refusing to apologise to Brendan Rodgers - and insists there is no way back for him at Liverpool.
Rodgers is adamant that Liverpool will not sell the player to Arsenal, but Mirror Sport understands the Gunners want peace talks and boss Arsene Wenger is still hopeful a deal can be struck.
Liverpool boss Rodgers has insisted Suarez, currently frozen out and training on his own, will not be allowed rejoin his team mates until he apologises both publicly and privately for his claims that promises made when he agreed to stay at Anfield last summer have been broken.
Rodgers said: “There needs to be an apology to his team-mates and to the club and once we get that commitment that he is ready then we will have the player we have always had.”
Suarez is understood to feel his relationship with Rodgers has completely broken down and is adamant there will be no apology as he feels betrayed by the manager over what he claims was a gentlemen’s agreement to sell if Liverpool had an offer from a Champions League club.
Suarez, 26, has kicked up a fuss in the past week, his attitude is annoying other senior players and his refusal to apologise leaves Liverpool with a huge dilemma.
He could still ask for a transfer and remains committed to legal action if his departure continues to be blocked but last week Liverpool owner John W Henry claimed a sale would be “ludicrous”.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are closing in on Bayern Munich’s Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo and a £15m deal could be done this week with Wenger also looking to strengthen his defence.
Gustavo, 26, is fed-up of being a squad player at Bayern and Arsenal have turned to him after struggling to convince Borussia Dortmund to sell Ilkay Gundogan, as revealed in Mirror Sport last week.
But Suarez remains Arsenal’s No.1 striker target and they are prepared to go right to the wire as they have yet to think about a back-up option as they still believe Liverpool may sell.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’Comment

I don't see how he can expect to win any legal action if the PL and PFA have both looked at his contract and said that it means what we suggested. Also as regards the gentleman's agreement if as has been suggested that his contract contains an "entire agreement" clause then there is nothing legally that can be done. It just seems like he is dragging things out and making it more difficult.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment
