Suarez is world class and will do damage anywhere across the front three.

With Coutinho Henderson and Gerrard we have a very good system. Where does Lucas fit in here?

And Sturridge himself drops in when required and rotates, though admittedly he spends more time at the front than the others.

I'm seriously excited about seeing a front-line of Moses, Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge against some of the lesser sides in the division though. Even if we will leave Moses out for the big games and put Henderson in the middle for his work-rate.

i dont think it will be long before hes put back in the middle, can he be trusted to look after a flank defensively?

he does plenty of chasing and defending from the front.

Do either of the two wide players defend that much in Rodger's system? Nope.

They drop deeper towards the centre and Lucas/Gerrard/Henderson usually help cover, so that we can break quicker on the counter.

Played wide at Arsenal last year and tracked back pretty well if I recall. It's odd, he fits much better wide in a system in which we press high up the pitch, which you'd think would be the preference, but the past couple games we've bunkered as the game has gone on. Will be interesting to see how BR approaches it, but ultimately I think Suarez playing wide gets our best players on the pitch.

Still expect a substantial amount of fluency and tactical flexibility anyway. In games we need to be a little more compact, he'd be absolutely perfect for the role Aspas has played in the psuedo-4-4-2 look we've had, harrying the Carricks and Artetas who try to pull the strings from deep.

absolutely it is. I don't know any of the players personally so I try not to judge them, but as humans we naturally judge everything around us. I just think the fact that Luis Suarez thought he was clever enough to fool everybody by saying he wanted out of England because of the media and then doing an interview later on saying the opportunity to move to arsenal was one he wanted to take, makes him stupid imo.

Its only something people will get over if they let it bother them in the first place and at the end of the day, its just football.

Regardless of his talent (which I very much enjoy viewing) he is an idiot and imo this taints his time at the club and makes him not as likeable as other lfc players who haven't done what he has yet. e.g Sturrdige.

I doubt that one of the most hard working attacking players will suddenly stop working his socks off.

The tracking back and defending is the reason to why I think that Suarez is the second best player in the world.

Ronaldo don't give a **** about tracking back and defend.

He play out wide for Uruguay so that won't be a problem considering that been fantastic in that position.

I'm sure you meant Lucas and Gerrard. Henderson will make way.
                        Are we winning?

It will be Aspas who makes way for Suarez

                            Suarez, Sturridge, Moses

                            With Coutinho behind.

I remember Arsenal away last season and he was brilliant defensively - although he lost a lot going forward. Really sacrificed himself.

Suarez defo have the work rate and mentality to do defensive work. He is just so eager to be on the ball, that it's no worry for me. Whether he is tactically disciplined enough will be the interesting question, but I can see him coming through there if needed. Suarez played the wing a fair deal at Ajax, and their wingers defend a lot, so yeah we will be allright.

The big question is if Rodgers will throw him in this quick? I mean he does lack some match practice by now, and the team is so far winning the games, so Suarez should earn his place I think.
