Had a very good game today, worked very very hard.

Any other player and his performance would be complimented, as his standards are so high it feels a bit meh.
The times they are a changin'.

This guy has taken his game to a totally different level. We thought he was good last season, but for me on current form, he is the best player in World football. Everything he does you just expect him to pull it off

You even knew that chance he made for Sterling would be on a plate. He seems to have taken all the negatives out of his game and raised it another couple levels

he wasnt up to his usual high energy standard for much of the game, although he did have a few creative moments. picking the ball up in the left hand corner and surging into the goal area.
although sterling shared some football with him he often looked a little isolated. our midfield were miles away from him.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I was worried about him towards the end of yesterday, looked like he was losing his cool so you never know what happens then. It's not easy to do but yesterday and Hull showed that if you nullify Luis, you nullify the whole team. We need Sturridge's threat back in the team too.

I don't think yesterday's game showed that at all. We scored and should have equalised but for a poor decision by the linesman and then poor finishing from Sterling in the 2nd half.

Yer wha?! They were ****ting themselves yesterday as they got ripped apart time and time again with some incredible football.

It's weird - Suarez was good yesterday, they were terrified of him, but he sets such high standards that you felt he had quite a bit more to give and had much fewer touches of the ball than usual.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

No way he was nullified, he just wasn't allowed to take the piss out of their defence. He still set up Coutinho and Sterling with two gilt edged chances. Look closely at his movement and it's truly world class.

His performance yesterday was a masterclass in playing as a lone striker against a world class defender. He beat Kompany 3-4 times with some superb movement. He was isolated at times but held the ball up so many times trying to play his teammates in.

he did beat defenders to the ball, but it was almost always in wide areas. they often had time to get men back and snuff us out. suarez did get through a few times though. i felt he would have been more effective coming deeper towards our midfield and giving them an outlet for the ball. him and sterling always seem so much better being able to have a run at defenders.

come out deeper and bring the defenders with you. when you then run at them or play the ball behind them suarez and sterling will rip them for pace and with fast turns. sitting amongst their defenders allows them the advantage. some credit must go to kompany who tried to track suarez everywhere. this is why i think if suarez would have gone deeper then he would have got the jump on them when we counter attacked.

I actually thought his performance yesterday was better than some of the ones when he scores a few goals. He turned that City inside out almost single handedly and they were absolutely **** scared of him. I was amazed at some of the balls he won and some of the opportunities he made out of nothing.

I thought he was the best player on the park by a long margin and the noticeable gulf in class between him and the others at times was almost embarrassing.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Bluemoon forum saying Kompany had Suarez in his pocket. Sorry but that's bollocks. He laid on two certain goals (both missed) and should have had a penalty.

I'm talking goals, how many shots did he have,if he doesn't score we struggle to get many. They snuffed him out in that regard and most of the danger came from Luis creating things for others, its in those circumstances we need better finishers on the end of them like Sturridge. Both Sterling and Coutinho wasted great chances created by Luis,Sturridge would have done better I'm sure.
