He's getting plenty for it. I'm just perusing They Work ForYou to see how he scrubs up...

Is Suarez now engineering a move away? The comments about the critics "back in England", it looks to me that after all the good work last season he's now looking to set himself back up as enemy number 1.

Whilst he's had his critics, he's brought it upon himself, and to be fair to the press, they always commend his football and work rate.

I think that's jumping to conclusions, big style. Not saying he won't, but I don't think comments after the game give an indication.

I'm not so sure, not saying its definitely right, but if you look at his history he seems to like to play games when he feels he wants to move on to bigger things. He's had a lot of praise this season, won awards and received a lot of good press. It just seems a little too calculated to me.

An emotional player who wears his heart on his sleeve is always going to say stuff like that. He probably still feels aggrieved. Which is up to him, but I dont see what for anymore.

He won the FWA and PFA player of the year. Writers and players thought he was good.

                    Suarez proves a point

Luis Suarez said that his performance was a response to England boss Roy Hodgson's comments that the Uruguay and Liverpool striker was still short of being among the world's best.

"The England coach said I was a proven Premier League player, but not world class," Suarez told El Observador.

"So there is the answer. He sees me all year and he knows my worth as a player and a person. It takes courage and character to keep moving forward.

"Before the game too many people in England laughed about my attitude over the last few years. This is a very good time for me. I want to see what they think now."

What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

I agree completely with that. I always get the idea that Suarez is the type of character who feels like he needs to build walls before cutting ties which would explain various issues in his past.

Not saying its defo right, just putting it out there.

This is what I don't understand, nobody has questioned his attitude to football, they questioned his character with the alleged racism and the mentality of someone who bites another players arms. That side of things he's brought it upon himself, but when talking about his football, I've not read anything to say he doesn't give 100% and is not one of the best players in the world. It seems a little paranoid, or as I suspect, calculated.

Masterclass there in mind games by the Bodge though!

Hodgson just said he ain't world class - before his two goals ruined England, of course.

Suarez seems to be saying he hates the City and club in those comments.
