That's particularly harsh, US based bank by any chance ?Originally posted by RoboKop View PostOne of our fund managers got forced to resign for nondisclosure of a CCJ for a loan that her alcoholic ex husband had taken out in her name that she hadnt been aware of. We were taken over & it was used against her- 23 years service & marched off the premises within a few hours.

That's ****. We wouldn't treat any of our team like that under any circumstance.Originally posted by RoboKop View PostOne of our fund managers got forced to resign for nondisclosure of a CCJ for a loan that her alcoholic ex husband had taken out in her name that she hadnt been aware of. That's just human nature though isn't it, looking after your own. You say conspiracy but that picture that the mail used is without a doubt photoshopped. So that has merit. Now, if he did play for another team, I personally wouldn't have made a deal of it, probably would have called him a dirty so and so and laughed about it. The point about elbows and other things are that whilst they aren't animalistic they are a lot more dangerous long term. Violent conduct is violent conduct, despite it being a strange case. I think the punishment in this case fits the crime, and there has been an overreaction to the entire thing.Originally posted by James P View PostThere's also been a lot of making excuses, claiming it's a Twitter / Photoshop conspiracy, saying that biting someone is nothing much, or saying that they don't care because he wasn't playing for us in that match. I'm just saying that if it was the other way around I doubt that anyone would be looking for excuses or playing it down. The times they are a changin'.

It's hardly that mad to doubt a picture in this day and age, they can be knocked up in about 60 seconds and viral not long after. But some of the clips do look very damning so he's been a tool and deserves what he gets.Originally posted by James P View PostThere's also been a lot of making excuses, claiming it's a Twitter / Photoshop conspiracy, saying that biting someone is nothing much, or saying that they don't care because he wasn't playing for us in that match. Of course one of our players will get more leeway than a rival player, it'd be bizarre if it was any other way.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.Originally posted by Gibbo View PostThat's just human nature though isn't it, looking after your own. My issue is that if this was his first offence, I'd be more inclined to take that line. It's not, and he keeps letting everyone down. I just don't feel inclined to defend him any more, and am rapidly coming to the conclusion that I don't want him at the club any more. Given that he's one of the most outrageously talented players we've ever seen, that's a really depressing point to have reached.Originally posted by Chris View PostIt's hardly that mad to doubt a picture in this day and age, they can be knocked up in about 60 seconds and viral not long after.
