Yeah, he seems to me at a pace between Suarez and Sterling.

Unfortunately for us, we're no longer a top tier club, success will attract attention and departure will become inevitable. On the plus side, we'll recycle those players every couple of years so in one way it guarantees exciting times ahead, in the form of plenty of new faces!Originally posted by mick the click View PostSo, say we get a bag of cash and Sanchez. What if Sanchez doesn't want to play for us? Is he going to be another moody bugger forever angling to get back to play somewhere a bit warmer?SakhoPotatoes

Sanchez is a logical choice if he is willing. The problem with taking cash only is who are you going to buy and can you get a fair price when the seller knows you've got a wad of cash to spunk?
Look what happened to Spurs last year.
I can imagine uproar if the owners bank some of the cash but I'd prefer them to get one great signing and bank any spare cash for the future than blow it all in one transfer window.
I think we will do fine without Suarez if we get an A grade replacement from Barcelona as part of the deal.

So the papers say, but I've not seen a direct quote from either the player or anyone connected to the player, so it could just be journalist spouting ****e.Originally posted by tanner View PostHasn't Sanchez indicated his preference is Arsenal? Still, it might not be up to him if Barca push on for Luis.
Having said that, if Barca said to him "it's either Liverpool or a year kicking your heels on the bench" then I'm pretty certain he'd see the attraction of playing up North.

Just remind me how much they paid for NeymarOriginally posted by EwarWoo View PostWe're after 85m for a player who's suspended for 4 months even from training and is liable to bite again ending his career instantly.
Indications are despite this JWH does not want to move on price.
Barca would be idiots to pay that for him really.

His speculation thread from that time begs to differ. Nearly twice as many posts as the Lallana ones put together. Similar price too. Now there was a signing to get excited aboutOriginally posted by tanner View PostRemember when he was first unveiled at the club, not a huge amount of excitement for Luis, it was nearly all about the other bloke
