After the Evra gate the club was told in the New York Post to sort it out with Suarez. Last chance saloon and all that.
They own a part of FSG IIRC.
It wouldn't surprise me if Rodgers been told to sort out Suarez or he will be sold. Suarez that is, not Rodgers.Stop the cyberhate

And the public are ****ing stupid enough to lap it up. Surprised they showed the Defoe incident at all to be honest!Originally posted by Shackanory View PostSSN are showing that. Jim White, true to form, finds the Defoe bite funny, and is outraged at Suarez. Whopper.
If the FA are consistent they can do **** all to Suarez without admitting to being hypocrites after overlooking what Defoe did. Rightly or wrongly they have set the tone.Vive la France

you're thinking of the new york times, and i think they've already sold their stake. they're trying to get out of a bunch of other businesses they went into right now, had nothing to do with us.Originally posted by Arn View PostAfter the Evra gate the club was told in the New York Post to sort it out with Suarez. I don't think the FA care about being hypocrites. Look at the different punishments they gave Suarez and Terry for the same offence.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostAnd the public are ****ing stupid enough to lap it up. Surprised they showed the Defoe incident at all to be honest!

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They had an excuse for that though, this time its clear cut, both incidents are the exact same.Originally posted by Shackanory View PostI don't think the FA care about being hypocrites. Look at the different punishments they gave Suarez and Terry for the same offence.
Suarez got a longer ban for 'repeatedly' abusing Evra I thought they said. Terry was just the once?Vive la France

Just looked it up, apparently the FA "did not find the reference to Ferdinand's colour or race an aggravating factor such that it would double the ban."Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostThey had an excuse for that though, this time its clear cut, both incidents are the exact same.

Since when is "****ing black cunt" not an aggravating factor?Rome wasn't built in a day, but it wasn't built by the apprentice either.

Anyway, back to topic. Here's an interesting take on it.
"AnfieldForum.com @AnfieldForum 7m
Here is a theory on Suarez. He said he wants to stay, is loved by the fans. But deep down he wants champions league so engineered this so he would get sold to a champions league participant but not look like a Judas / fallout with fans in the process. Dunno but interesting. He left Ajax after biting someone, was loved by their fans but wanted to leave, left as a hero, not a judas. Just a thought anyway."Rome wasn't built in a day, but it wasn't built by the apprentice either.
