      What did Cameron say? Because I would hazard a guess at him being badgered about it all day. I'm no fan of the man, but its not his fault if he is asked for comment.

        The club know he will be banned, if they had banned him for the remaining 4 games they would be exposing themselves to more criticism. "Only 4 games, is that all they think it is worth" etc. Whatever length of ban given by the club would be insufficient in some quarters, better let those fine fair people at the F.A. decide, then it will be just and very fair.

          We reacted quickly as you said and in the right manner but we didn't act like we really cared. Even an idiot like me could figure out what the reaction would be if we only fined him.

          Nice words and all that but not strong enough punishment.

          Tottenham banned Defoe two games IIRC.

              Oh who cares what the media thinks...really. Do you really believe they give Suarez a fair deal? Do they bollocks. Liverpool need to start looking out for themselves, not planning their actions to what the hypocritical media will react like.

              They condemned his actions, they fined him. They know the FA will come down hard on him, harder and unfairer than on anyone else. Leave it to them.

                    I read it hoping for some updates on what is actually happening with the case, but **** is it hard work at times.

                        We need to learn that in the real world then you need to use the media to your advantage all the time. Not only in cases like this, all the time.

                        Article after article of how good club this is.

                        If the media make us look bad and we don't response strong enough then many fans will turn against us.

                        The best clubs out there control much of the media. They have PR companies working for them 24/7.

                              A mistake would've been us going all gung-ho and banning him for four games and then the FA stick their eight (or whatever) on top and us losing him for even longer.

                              We've fined him and issued a swift statement. That's all we need to do right now.
