Arn, having worked in newspapers and including the mirror, it doesn't work like that. No way one this earth would Ollie Holt put his name to a story he didn't write or was told to write. they'd have the union demanding strike action for such a request.Originally posted by Arn View PostWe didn't pay him. We probably paid a PR company and they used their connections.
The paper then told Holt to write the article.
Don't you find it very strange that almost nothing positive about it was said yesterday in the papers and today suddenly almost all of them say the same positive thing.
All of them about the same things. The lenght of the ban. How the FA handles it, that dangerous tackles is more dangerous than a bite.
PR agencies work by submitting press releases, they also get to know journo's and feed them information,.they don't write copy and get it printed under a journo's name.I make no apologies, this is me

Common sense to be honest - they've taken the Terry ban and used it as a yardstick to the punishment to be dished out. Quite rightly they've said how can you ban a player for more than 4 games for a non career threatening injury albeit it a serious offence and then only give a player they've found guilty of racism 4 games. Add in Liverpool's charm offensive and they've softened (apart from a few)I make no apologies, this is me

Those that killed her, were following the law.

I don't think it's anything to worry about. It strikes me as a bureaucratic response and will change nothing except to give the appearance that steps are to be taken to address "the issue".Originally posted by tsb View PostI hope he refuses this anger management crap..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Well the FA are a bunch of morons who live in their own bubble. They are so disconnected from their own game and fans they actually don't give a flying **** about the fans or being seen as hypocrites as long as the sponsors are being taken care of.Originally posted by kev776 View PostSo 9 it will be then.
Point in kind when defending the time to kick off for the FA Cup final, tehy responded that fans should use their partner Natiional Express only to be told they aren't putting on extra buses and the last one leaves London that day at around 8pm.I make no apologies, this is me

I did. I just didn't want it to get in the way of the serious bit.
As I just read your post I realised I was crossing my legs without thinking.
