Why? One good reason why saying something is better than saying nothing. That's all I ask.Originally posted by Norbs View PostI'm not so sure mate. I think they have to come out against the perpetrator of the incident, there's nothing to be said about Ivanovic
I mean better for the situation, not better for Gordon Taylor..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Hmm, I know what you're getting at but I doubt the bigwigs at the FA give a sh*t about the reaction of journalists. They're placemen, committee men, timeservers and backscratchers who treat it like their own private club. I bet they're a bunch of self-important knobs who see their image very differently to how it looks from here.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostGreat to see so many journalists (even some of the rubbish ones too, Oliver Holt
) putting this into perspective.
The FA must have thought this was an easy chance to improve their own image, instead they continue to be called out for being the bunch of pricks that they are.
And they'll have placated Cameron (who eagerly seized his opportunity to spout off on a subject that he can't be held responsible for) so that will make them feel good about keeping in with other powerful interests..

It's disappointing, Redknapp and Souness had a cracking chance to help us out and set the tone of it being worth punishment but not really that bad, instead they pretty much wanted him hanged.Originally posted by Marina View PostWhy are there so many gob****e ex-Liverpool players? It's baffling and disappointing. Very poor form indeed.
But, Brendan Rodgers

I'm not sure why people can't just agree to disagree about stuff without resorting to personal insults. Have a debate.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI've no problem with people thinking Hamann is a dick. Loads of our ex players, legends in fact - have shown themselves to be dickheads in retirement. Souness, Lawrenson, Houghton, WHELAN....and more. Didi will always be an LFC legend as a player. As a person in the public eye/pundit, I think he's a bit of an attention seeking idiot who talks one hell of a lot of ****.Oh I don't know.
