If we start winning stuff again, players will want to leave less. That's the reality of things.

i would have thought we would hold on to him for a bit longer than that.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostI think we'll get two more years out of him and then sell him to Barcelona/Madrid for 60-70 million or something.
part of it will be who is available and their cost at the time

This summer is crucial in the transfer market. And for Agger and Gerrard to seriously, and hopefully permenantly, get over their injuries. One tit for another.

Well **** that!
I am like a kid in a sweet shop watching Suarez play. Pure ****ing dynamite, I absolutely love him

madrid and barcelona can bid whatever they want. we dont have to sell anybody. torres left because he wanted to and we got 50m for him.
lets not get carried away. this season defenders dont really know about suarez' strengths but next season they will. thats not to say they can stop him but torres was very very good for at least a couple of seasons. suarez has been here 3 or 4 months so theres no point starting a suarez wankfest.
however he has been very very impressive and once we get gerrard back, another few signings then we might see a new world superstar.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

How do you defend against such an intelligent quick footed player? It's virtually impossible. Defenders can study his movement as much as they like, he's so unpredictably brilliant that it won't make any difference.Originally posted by el matador View Postthis season defenders dont really know about suarez' strengths but next season they will. thats not to say they can stop him

and that the club is being run with a view to selling players at a certain point and reinvesting that money in replacements.
