But they are our favourite sports on hereOriginally posted by Neil Young View PostPeople can like living somewhere but still move somewhere else. That doesn't make them liars.
All this is silly. We have no way of knowing what's going to happen. There's no point clutching at straws or shooting messengers - it's best to ignore it all and wait to see what happens.

..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

It all depends on the replacement really, hard to say if we would be better or worse off untill we know what the alternative will be.Originally posted by dww View PostI think in the long term he would be replaceable but I think in terms of gaining momentum for a challenge for the top 4 or better next season then it would be very, very hard to end up in an equal or better position having sold him.
IMHO, and I know it's far from a popular one, we could end up with less eye-catching individual, but we could fairly easily end up with a better team.
But obviously it depends on getting in the right talent to replace him. But realistically we could end up with two good players for the price of Suarez, and we might even have 1-2 players that are not out for a quarter of the season with suspension each year...
That said, I wouldn't mind Suarez staying here as well, he is a brilliant little individual to watch most of the time.

Hmm, could have been avoided altogether when the incident happened. Call it a day there and then instead of going through all this circus.Originally posted by spider-neil View PostIf the club do indeed sell they are going to spin it that;
A) Suarez gives Liverpool a bad public image
B) Suarez gets suspended...a LOTAre we winning?

To be honest, we already have that with Sturridge. He seems to be far more comfortable in the middle on his own without Suarez.Originally posted by Darkon View PostIt all depends on the replacement really, hard to say if we would be better or worse off untill we know what the alternative will be.

Use the Suarez money to massively improve on the likes of Downing, Borini, Reina and some defenders, and I think we're onto something.Oh I don't know.
