He has 5.5 years left on his contract and no release clause, he can chat as much **** as he likes, the fee isn't coming down. We hold all the cards. I'd happily stick him in the ressies for a season if he causes a fuss, not that he would do, I don't think he's like that.

It's simple, if you want to leave, be our guest, but put in a request and then let nature takes its course. Constantly spouting in the press is getting him nowhere. We know he wants to go, they know he wants to go, so make a request and see what happens.

He loves us so much he talks about another club at every available opportunity and want us to pay up his contract while also facilitating his move to said club.

I don't know. Maybe he does, for a number of reasons. The recurring theme in all of this is the overreaction each time he speaks or does an interview and it so easily can be misquoted or taken out of context.

We will all know when he comes back from holidays or forces a transfer the closer it gets to the start of the season. I personally don't read anything in the papers; I just browse through this thread to keep me 'up to date' with this saga. I wish I didn't.
