It's not as if Real are tapping him up like they usually do. It looks like he's being a desperate fanny and begging them to sign him. Maybe negotiations are advanced behind the schemes, but then why the need to talk about it like this. If Madrid talked about wanting a player, like they did with Alonso then I agree Arn, but they don't seem to be, he seems to be trying to invite interest.

I will wait until after the CC before I start to moan about it if he don't put in a transfer request.Originally posted by G View PostIf a player wants to leave the procedure is quite simple, ask for a transfer. He's "demanding" a move without ever actually asking for one!
I don't begrudge the lad wanting to leave, it's the way he's trying to do it that grates me.
I don't have a clue if he will do that or not. He may do that straight away after the CC.
If the club sells him without him putting in a transfer request then it is their problem and I will moan at them.
It should be no transfer request no sale.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

Surely it depends on the price. If Madrid pay him off via the transfer fee, what's the problem?Originally posted by Arn View PostI will wait until after the CC before I start to moan about it if he don't put in a transfer request.

I believe they tapped him up months ago and demanded that he must do everything he can to get the fee down but that is my opinion.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIt's not as if Real are tapping him up like they usually do. He has 5.5 years left on his contract and no release clause, he can chat as much **** as he likes, the fee isn't coming down. We hold all the cards. I'd happily stick him in the ressies for a season if he causes a fuss, not that he would do, I don't think he's like that.Originally posted by Arn View PostI believe they tapped him up months ago and demanded that he must do everything he can to get the fee down but that is my opinion.
It's simple, if you want to leave, be our guest, but put in a request and then let nature takes its course. Constantly spouting in the press is getting him nowhere. We know he wants to go, they know he wants to go, so make a request and see what happens.

It disturbs him that Liverpool aren't in the CL every season. Not hes upset they're not there next season and he misses out, he thinks the club deserve it.Originally posted by red g View Post“It disturbs me that Liverpool are not in the Champions League every season.
He's speaking as someone who loves the club not as someone who is wanting to progress his career.

I don't know. Maybe he does, for a number of reasons. The recurring theme in all of this is the overreaction each time he speaks or does an interview and it so easily can be misquoted or taken out of context.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostYou don't think he wants to go to Madrid?
We will all know when he comes back from holidays or forces a transfer the closer it gets to the start of the season. I personally don't read anything in the papers; I just browse through this thread to keep me 'up to date' with this saga. I wish I didn't.Are we winning?

If Real were genuinely interested and talking to Luis' people and LFC then why does he feel the need to constantly send come and get me messages to Real through the media ??
I wonder if Perez's comments a while back about some players not being a fit for Real were genuine.Last edited by ~LFCHistory~; 16-06-13, 02:30 PM.
