Do you want us to sign that Ryan fella from Shahktar? You do know that he behaved much worse than Suarez have ever done towards his club.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostI never said Suarez was in the wrong. I said that I believe there's been contact and a gentlemanly agreement between him and Madrid. This is part and parcel of the game at the moment. We've practically done the same with Mkhtariyan.
All Liverpool statements have said that Suarez has not directly asked for a transfer. It's true, but if you read the so called WUM media, they all point to the fact that he hasn't asked Liverpool for a transfer but has spoken to Madrid. So IMO, Liverpool statements and press speculation are not conflicting each other but are agreeing to the fact that relations have begun between Suarez and Madrid.
I also think that now these relations have begun, it's best for all that he gets his move and leaves.
Compared to him Suarez is an angel.
I want us to sign him because it is that type of top class players we have a chance to sign. I'm also at the same time accepting that it is a big risk that he will force a move in a year or two.
The key words is still Champions league.
If we sign him and qualify for the CL then it is a big chance that he will stay. If we don't, well, then he most probably move to a club that play in the CL.
If we had qualified for the CL then Suarez wouldn't even be interested in a move to Real IMO.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

Totally. He is no ITK as any way, shape or form.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostIt's total bull mate. He's citing a two month old tweet that got RTd a lot last night. Shows what a chancer he is.
That can take us only so far.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostSuarez has said how it would be a dream to play for Real, of course he'd love to get a move there. But I don't think he would be totally against staying if we show ambition.
A player like Luis Suarez should be playing for one of the top five teams in the world, not a team who can't even claim to be the fifth best team in England.
We can count ourselves lucky to have such a rich tradition to fall back on to make sure we can still pull players in.
The reality is that we missed out on CL 4 years in a row and we don't have sugar daddies so it is and will continue to be a very difficult and very challenging for us to attract top talent and top players on regular basis unless we find the way to get back to CL sooner rather than later.
The good thing is the club is aware of our limitations and they know that early recruitment of young and talented prospects and looking for bargain type of deals (due to some market anomalies) will be way for us to move forward in the long run but we still need to spend money and buy quaility players from time to time so we can add to the few top notch players we have on our books in a short term.
Those few like Luis will not be around for too much longer unless we start truly challenging to top honours very soon as they are good enough to get more money and more trophies somewhere else.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I agree Mos. I think with the money available we are getting it right too. Some highly rated youngsters to replace those who didn't step it up enough (Spearing & Shelvey for Biteco & Luis Alberto?), followed up with signing players ready to challenge for the first XI now like Aspas and in particular HM.Forwards.......
