Arsenal need to get real They'll end up with nobody if they carry on negotiating like this.

£30m first bid for Suarez.. SERIOUSLY
Higuain will be off to Napoli as well unless they pull their fingers out, a player that was virtually signed at one point according to some decent members of the press.
Jovetic was probably the first striker they were linked with and **** knows what they done there.

We might be getting some balls at last. :manstrength:
And let him leave for free in 3 years? He'd be sold before that were to happen.

Of course we'd be bluffing. But would he want to risk finding out?

Point is we can realistically force him to stay for one more year regardless of anything else. How would his presence not help us get into the top 4?

        Hello mert.

I reckon there's a lot of posturing due to sponsorship obligations so I won't read anything in so called body language just yet.
          Are we winning?

Big kick in the balls for us all if he goes to Arsenal. Club needs to grow a back bone

He won't be going to Arsenal unless they offer silly money. There's no way we're that stupid.

Nah mate his eyes are half-closed in an openly scheming manner on that picture- he's clearly, clearly plotting something nefarious & Hispanic....
                  3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I can't believe he will go to Arsenal. They win even less trophies than we do.

On the training pitch at the AAMI Stadium on the banks of the Yarra River, that impression was reinforced. In a five-a-side game that was based on possession, when he was on a team with Steven Gerrard, Jose Enrique, Glen Johnson and Stewart Downing, he buzzed around, relentlessly demanding the ball and clapping enthusiastically whenever rapid passing moves came off.

When things moved on to a larger pitch, Suarez was even more animated.

He rattled Martin Skrtel with one tackle, shook Simon Mignolet’s hand after he had outfoxed the new keeper with a shot and then glowered at Oussama Assaidi when the winger failed to give him another chance to score.

This was not a player who was going through the motions and, despite being three weeks behind his colleagues in terms of fitness work, Suarez kept scurrying and scampering until Rodgers brought the 90-minute session to a halt.

When the final whistle blew, he dropped to the floor after giving his all. ‘It has been good to see him back,’ said Rodgers. ‘I have been looking forward to seeing him.’

And some really think he wont give his all if he stays?! He doesnt know any other way.
Absolutely loved reading that. thanks Chris. 27 hrs till my flight leaves.

I'm still just waiting to see what happens, nothing in football surprsies me these days, Suarez can laugh and smile with his team mates all he likes, but if Madrid come with a serious bid he's off imo, and tbh, i think he's their second choice top target after Bale, so if Bale stays with Spurs, i fear they'll be in for Luis, and i also think he'd be gone like a shot too.

So for now, everything is as it was, even if he scores a hatrick in this upcoming game and kisses BR, i'll still feel that if Madrid come calling he'll go, and untill the windiow shuts, or he signs a new deal with us, i'm not getting any sort of hopes up that he'll be here come the start of the season.

If we sold him to Arsenal though! ,i think i'd......well.....i think i'd scweem and scweem and scweem!
