Make no mistake money is playing a part in all of this, he should be getting paid closer to 200k a week given what Augero, Rooney, RVP even Torres are getting paid.

The argument usually takes the turn after that point is made that you don't get little kids hero worshipping you for sitting at your desk doing whatever it is you do.

People don't love you for being a great auditor (or whatever)

        Its the usual riposte.

I am so glad I'm not an auditor. I would have slit my wrists by now if I was.

Makes me a little angry that Kenny and the club defended him to the hilt, a little loyalty wouldn't have gone amiss.

Another season after all the ****e he's put us through wouldn't have been amiss.

Not really sure how you can compare the football industry to normal working folk. It's totally different. The contracts, remuneration etc. Not just about the amounts they're paid.

They sign contracts for set periods. We sign contracts with notice periods. We want to move we hand in the notice. If we don't work the notice, we don't get paid. Footballers don't want to play for you anymore, they still want their signing-on bonuses, loyalty bonuses etc. Totally different ball-game. Nowhere near the same

They only have their massive earning potential for a limited period of time though Sarb - they really don't have the time to hang around at clubs they don't have an emotional tie to, on the offchance they might just match their own ambitions.

it is different yes, but personal ambition isn't really, whatever your job or remuneration is.

OK, you're not sure, but that is exactly what I am doing.

Why do you resign from a job? Here's a selection of reasons:
                  • You have a better offer elsewhere
                  • Your role doesn't match your ambitions, you want to test yourself in a better environment, you want to improve
                  • You hate your employer
                  • You hate your colleagues
                  • You hate your day to day job
                  • You want to try something new

                  How is that different?
                  Oh I don't know.

                    I do...

I've long thought its a bit weird. It actually gets a bit tiring when they cheer me each time I read/send an email or get the teas in...

The company stood by me when I bit the IT manager last year too.

Still doing the clown job on the side I see.

You can't count the Buzzo juniors!

Do they have an ironed, collared, long sleeve shirt from Marks and Spencer's with Buzzo - 1 on the back?

You're talking about why normal folk change jobs and why footballers do. I'm talking about our contracts being totally different to the way their contracts are.

We aren't purchased assets are we,signed to set lengths of contracts?

It's pretty simple really. If we want to quit our job we serve notice. If footballers want to quit their club they hand in a transfer request, forgo the remaining salary on their contract and any bonuses they are entitled to.

He isn't going to do that because he has some weird logic that he feels he is entitled to some sort of loyalty payment off the club.

Anyway, I'll leave it at that. Life's too short to be worrying about Suarez

                                It really isn't that different.
