And we'd still have room in the starting line-up for other new signings. It's crazy we don't appear to be in for the N'Zogbia quadruplets..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

i have to say i dont think its defeatest or glum. There is a certain realsim to it. PEople were glum when keegan went and about torres (and others inbetween) what happened, well we tended to replace them. So i see us buying him having success with him then selling him and using that money to fund good replacements as a good plan and way forward for the club.

Not too long ago we were top dogs in Europe, ranked No.1. To accept that we’re now some sort of feeder club for Europe’s elite, unable to hold onto our star players is a bit of a ‘glum’ outlook. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Would hate to see him go but if we get the top money for him and reinvest all of it into getting another top notch player we should be fine.
We did that with Nando and see how things turned out thus far.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

But if we can’t keep hold of our better players, then we may as well be.Originally posted by CJ View Posti am not suggesting we are a feeder club in any way
You say the most successful teams get ‘rid of players, move them on and renew’, but how true is that? The most successful of them all have a policy of buying players in their prime, not selling them, and Milan keep players until they are eligible for a pension. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
