Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

            http://www.teamtalk.com/news/2483/71...-a-rest-Suarez

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has insisted that he feels ready to play every game despite having barely had a break all summer.

Having made a big impact at Anfield during the second half of last season, Suarez quickly had to prepare for international duty with Uruguay in the Copa America.

He inspired his country to glory at the July tournament and then had just a week's rest before returning to Liverpool for the start of the new Premier League campaign.

Suarez showed no signs of fatigue for the Reds during the first few games of the season, although he did start on the substitute's bench against Arsenal as Kenny Dalglish tried to manage him carefully.

The 24-year-old has just embarked on a 3,300-mile round trip to Kharkov to play Ukraine, while Craig Bellamy has been signed to give Liverpool an extra option up front, but Suarez does not want to be left out at Stoke on Saturday.

"I want to play in all the games I can for Liverpool," he said in the Daily Mirror. "I don't want any rest at all.

"Despite only having that week's training before playing again, I'm only 24 so I felt good.

"I was glad to get back to training at Melwood as I had been missing that whole atmosphere around the training ground and wanted to get back to playing at Anfield. So it was really special for me to get back."

Suarez has been pleased to see Liverpool recruit a number of players this summer as he is hungry for more silverware after lifting the Copa America trophy.

"Bringing all the players in is very positive and I hope they can help return Liverpool to where they should be, which is aspiring to win league titles," he said.

"All the players have that same ambition. I know that after winning the Copa, I want to win things with Liverpool.

"Kenny is the one who has signed the players, but those players have all come to Liverpool with the same ambition to make the club win again.

"Nobody comes here with any airs of being better than anybody else. They come with the idea of playing in the team and making the team, the squad and the club better."

Liverpool have made a strong start to the season, picking up seven points from their opening three Premier League fixtures, and Suarez is confident of maintaining that good form.

"Overall, our start has been good," he said. "The first half against Sunderland was superb, fantastic.

"In the second half, we tired a little bit, but, of course, that was the first game of the season and it's always difficult playing against teams in the opening game.

"But again, I felt we looked stronger at Arsenal and played well for longer. I'm very confident that we are going to carry on reaching those standards this year."

            Love this guys attitude
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Just what we need, a quality player who has this attitude, he has an infectuous personality as well so hopefully this rubs on.

                Suarez backs 'It's Liverpool' campaign

Luis Suarez today gave his backing to a brand new campaign aimed at rebranding Liverpool as a global city.

The Liverpool striker - who has been warmly embraced by his new city since arriving in January - is one of a number of leading figures to add his name to the initiative, which is designed to promote Liverpool's reputation as a first class place to live, work, study, invest and visit.

The 'It's Liverpool' campaign was being launched at Liverpool's John Moores University this morning, with keynote speeches from Max Steinberg, chief executive of Liverpool Vision, Cllr Joe Anderson, Leader of Liverpool City Council and Liverpudlian Olympic Medallist, Steve Parry.

Ian Ayre, Managing Director, Liverpool Football Club, said: "Liverpool is a city of greats. It's a city of great football, music, creativity and culture. It's a city of great architecture, business, invention and enterprise. It's Liverpool is about celebrating all of this greatness, and I would encourage every local business and organisation - however big or small - to get 100 per cent behind it in their support."

Developed as a key part of The Liverpool Plan, It's Liverpool is an initiative which involves a unique and unprecedented level of collaboration between the public and private sectors.

I like Luis Suarez, I think he's been excellent so far. It may be an unpopular view round here but that's how I feel and I've never been one to avoid voicing a controversial opinion.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

It's not all about me! Suarez praises Liverpool's team ethic after unbeaten start

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez believes a togetherness within the squad has helped get the club off to an unbeaten start to the season.

The Uruguay international was named the Reds' player of the month - the third time in only six occasions he has been available for it - after scoring three goals but contributing much more.

However, the 24-year-old was keen to stress Liverpool's two wins and a draw are down not just to him but the players around him.

Unbeaten: Suarez has been key to Liverpool's great start to the season
'I am very happy because I think the team has started really well and that is what we all wanted,' said the Copa America winner.

'We are only three games in but we will be trying to continue in the same vein.

'The important thing for me is that the whole team is happy. It's just not about one player doing it on his own.

'I am happy when the team is winning and playing well. I think team spirit is very important. If we don't all get on with each other off the field then it becomes very difficult to achieve your targets on it.

'All of the new lads that have come in are helping us greatly, while at the same time getting on well with the rest of the squad. 'That's important, not only for the whole team but for the fans as well.'

Team player: Suarez credits his success at the club to the work ethic shown by all of the players at Anfield

Suarez has had very little rest over the summer because of Uruguay's victory in their continental championship and manager Kenny Dalglish is keen to ensure his prized asset does not suffer accordingly.

The Scot rested the Uruguayan for the second match of the season at Arsenal only for him to come off the bench to score one and create the other in a 2-0 win.

Dalglish has said previously Suarez is keen to play in every game but the player himself admits there may be times when he has to be given a break.

'Whether I'm playing or not is something for the manager to think about, but it's true he also has to know when to rotate the squad a little on occasions,' he told liverpoolfc.tv.

'But I like the style of play and tactics we've adopted in recent games, so I'm very happy.'

Suarez is certain to start to Stoke tomorrow and there is likely to be a first appearance of the season for defender Glen Johnson, who was injured in Liverpool's final warm-up friendly against Valencia last month.

Captain Steven Gerrard is also close to making a long-awaited return after being sidelined since March after a groin operation.
