Xabi left us with respect, he requested to leave us also, but he went about it the right way. He's never been negative about us and still openly admits to keeping an eye on our results.

How he acts on the pitch with his talking and remonstrating with the ref & the opposition is one thing but how he acts off it and his clear respect for us is a club coupled with his obvious football talent is why we'd want Xabi back.

Arn, I guess you're getting into another agument of if's and but's against a guy who is pedantically black and white, and actually right, although in black and white terms.

His sale was on the cards for a while. It was obvious when he stated his allegiance to the club the day after Wang Chung or what ever his ficticious bid was the day before across the national media by Purslow, mid August last year. Torres was a commodity that added value to the sale of the club. Rafa even said he was entertaining bids of £70million from Chelsea before he was sacked!!

He was never going to stay. Shame, I'd have like to have seen him and Luis upfront, but maybe Torres financed and influenced the sale of Suarez more than we know.
