I've changed my mind. I don't believe that he's the right player for us right now. He wastes too many opportunities. He's not scoring enough goals, he isn't creating many chances for other players either. I maintain that I'm a huge admirer of his ability, but I think we need players with other qualities in order to make progress.

I totally disagree. I think he looks like a player who could score 20+ goals a season very easily. A mixture of bad luck with finishing and trying to do much himself (mainly because of the quality of the players around him) has meant he has scored less than he deserves. I do agree that his decision making needs to improve but this is his first season. He has potential to be in the top 5 in the world and it would be a huge mistake to lose him imo.

Loads of players have **** decision making in our team. Many times I've seen Suarez screaming for it in an open position when the likes of Adam, Henderson etc just take it themselves. Its not only Suarez who does it and you will find that this happens in every team. Someone mentioned he has 14 this season and that is not enough goals? I'd happily take that every season.

the one thing that seperates good players from great ones is decision making. young players are learning the game so it takes a while before they fine tune theirs. but suarez is 24 so we cant excuse his crap decision making down to inexperience.
I just think he consistently makes really poor decisions and it would take a very astute manager to turn this around. in the 18 months hes been here his decision making has gotten worse rather than better.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

But I don't think he saw Maxi, so the decision was fair enough.Originally posted by Liverpool View PostSunday he had Carroll and Maxi in the middle yet he shoots from a crazy angle, I dont think it has anything to do with quality around him hes just a mentalistTrey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Well said bud, personally i think if we had the right players around him that could keep up with him and get into the box to put the ball into the net then, IMO that he'd have more confidence to bring more out of him rather having to do most of the work himselfOriginally posted by acdmackay View PostI totally disagree. I have my concerns about Suarez but in his defense he's scored ~1 in 3 hasn't he in a team where there have been few other goal threats. He has also not had the easiest of seasons to put up with."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
