I dont care about exciting tbh, I want wins and points

id rather see a striker who cuts inside makes the goal big and scores a few

then suarez got outside nutmeg 7 people and blast it in from an impossible angle once every few months, ohh its exciting

No way we should be thinking of selliing him though - he should be way, way, way down on the list of people to move on.
I think his decison making when presented with opportunity to take a shot is not always the best and I can only hope that with more maturity he'll put the team interest first as he could one of the top players in terms of assists.

Sure he is a forward/striker and he wants to score all the time but he needs to work on his impulsiveness more and try to involve his teammates more as well and he'll be even more dangerous.

I love Luis. He is an exceptional footballer and it will be a sad day for me when he decides to move on so I don't want him to be sold as we haven't seen his best yet.

And advocating keeping a significantly inferior player because we won't get as much money for his crazy.

We don't want to sell our best players.

I really think Suarez will get better if we can surround him with few quality players and making 10m in profit by selling him and keeping Carroll in due to potential loss imo is just wrong way to go about.

Imo it is not only the striker that we need but there are other missing pieces that we need to adress sooner rather than later (e.g. AM, holding mid, wide player etc.)

Let's say that Suarez is sold and we buy Cavani (don't think FSG will spend 30m+ on a player for long time but just for purposed on my point).

Cavani as Cavani will make some difference but he alone will not put us in CL as he needs support and I don't think we would give him anything close in terms of support that he presently gets at Napoli but I do think selling Carroll and keeping Suarez if we would buy Cavani would make a huge difference for so many reasons.

So I would never sell Luis as I don't think he is the reason for our Pl demise

I do think FSG will be very careful about how they invest their money but I don't think they will set up ceiling nor I think they should really be trying to emulate Newcastle model as the level of expecations and pressure is not the same nor comparable.

Sure they will try to find a bargain when they can but I hope they will also sign quality players to address immediate need when required and world class talent if opportunities present themselves and using 15m as ceiling will not take us back in CL.

I read very interesting article recently and Suarez even when he scored the highest total in Eredivisie with Ajax was only 1 goal in 6 chances type of striker so it really shouldn't come as surprise that he is not scoring more than he does.

On the same note, RVP is also about 1 in 6 over the life of his footbaling career so far and Rooney is 1 in 7.5.

suarez doesnt get a shot off a lot of the time so I think he probably needs more 'chances' than someone like RVP

RVP has not always been the clinical striker he is today, in a better team with better support Luis will either be banging them in or creating goals in bunchfuls

Tbh, the 1 in 6 stat can be sort of deceptive, it can still mean a striker scores lots and lots of goals, if he and his team mates create enough chances.

In the end it is a game of numbers so yes if their teammats create more chances clearly they will score more goals but the ratio is still the same nevertheless

we cannot build the team around suarez because hes just too inconsistent. you cannot predict his next move because he plays off the cuff. a player like that who doesnt produce enough and keeps giving the ball back to the opposition has to be kept out of the way on the left of the 4231 where coincidentally he played really well for ajax.

we need better players in the key positions. alternatively, if psg offer 40m I would snap their hand off.
                      Impeccable timing.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
