It doesn't really matter. With him we can be midtable with moments of brilliance. Without him we can be midtable without anything for the highlights reel. Liverpool have always had a superstar forward at the club. Keegan, then Dalglish, Rush, then Fowler, then Owen, then Gerrard, Torres and now Suárez. It would be interesting who the next one would be if he left (God forbid). Sterling to step up to the mark? With no Champions League it'd be hard to attract a world class striker. After his "Bite" incident and suspension he got(as well as based on his reputation from WC) he was seen as a very risky proposition by big clubs and no one really knew if he would be able to replicate similar type of success at Ajax and NT in a much better league.Originally posted by BigChief View Post
