and to be fair you wouldn't blame a player of his quality wanting to win things, and would he really want to hang around in a project that will take a few years to come good.. and that's even if it comes good. Factor in us more than likely not getting champs league spot & with the media witch hunt too..... IMO he'll be off in the summer.

As long as Suarez doesn't act the cnut when we play each team off to get the most money. We need £50million minimum to continue our rebuilding. We can survive Suarez leaving if we have the money and more goals from the rest of the team.

We should be in for Llorente now as a backup plan. He's valued at 3.3million apparently. If we offer him a silly salary that others won't want to match (80k-100k?) we could probably convince him.
      One tit for another.

Surprised he was sober enough to get the sentence out!

The man is absolutely clueless. Ronnie Irani knows more about football than Brazil. Shocking

Suarez shouldn't be leaving. One of a couple of World Class players we have. If he goes then we can accept being mid-table for a very long time

Brendan Rodgers says Luis Suárez's recent comments are 'unacceptable' and that the club will be dealing with it.

that worked well last time we got 50million for a striker, What will it be this time?
35million on Danny Graham and 20million on Mathew Etherington

Personally, if asked outright what he thought about what Suarez said, he can't really say it's acceptable. You can't condone going down for a Penalty to win a match. Suarez was spot on in everything else he said in that interview, but he shouldn't have made the comment about diving imo. Just attracted needless stick again

Suarez probably loves getting stick, it drives him on. But it's us fans that go on forums, comment on articles defending him. But we can't really defend his comment on diving. Just my opinion though

Suarez felt Ajax management threw him under the bus so he left. He'll be ****ing thrilled about this. Can't Rodgers just shut his ****ing gob for once? Give a "no comment" and, if he must "deal with it internally", then ****ing deal with it internally, privately.

Suarez will probably dive in front of him in protest.
                        Are we winning?

Agreed, smart move from Rodgers and they can have a laugh about it at training.

Not sure on that mate. BR has backed him quite a few times in public when loads of people have said Suarez dives. Even remember Rodgers saying no one says anything about Bale etc and they pick on Suarez.

For Suarez to come out and then say "Yeah I dived to try and win a game", Rodgers looks like a mug. Suarez was hung out to dry on the racism storm I agree. But he should have kept his mouth shut on this diving storm

No he wasnt. Not at all. We backed him the whole way.
                              *Except Michael, who died.

We couldn't even get half decent legal representation for him!
