I reckon this is going to lead to **** all if it was anyone bur Suarez. Watch the incident again and its clear he tried to take a chunk but dont think he managaed to get anything other than a nip. When Mata shows the Ref where he bit its not like it was bleeding._____________________________________

Repeatedly "abusing" Evra on the say-so of, er, Evra with absolutely zero corroborative evidence, whereas Terry was seen apparently mouthing certain comments on TV. So the longer ban was even more perverse. The FA has a conviction rate approaching 100%, which even North Korea doesn't manage.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostThey had an excuse for that though, this time its clear cut, both incidents are the exact same.
Suarez got a longer ban for 'repeatedly' abusing Evra I thought they said. Terry was just the once?
At the end of the day they were looking for a scapegoat and Suarez was always going to be hung out to dry. A complete absence of corroborative evidence wasn't going to stop them.
Liverpool were incredibly naive in this case. We should have done what happened when an Aston Villa player similarly made a claim of racial abuse against a Liverpool player when we played Villa away quite a few seasons back (no prizes for guessing who the Villa player was).
The Liverpool player (I won't name him for obvious reasons) turned up with his lawyer and informed the Villa player that if the case wasn't Immediately dropped he'd be sued for defamation of character, given that there was no corroborative evidence, just his say-so. The case was duly dropped like a hot potato. We should have taken a similarly robust approach rather than try to be open and fair with the FA

Suarez admitted using the use of the word he was charged over, if he admitted using it over and over I have no clue.Originally posted by Redspin View PostRepeatedly "abusing" Evra on the say-so of, er, Evra with absolutely zero corroborative evidence, whereas Terry was seen apparently mouthing certain comments on TV. Nothing to really to add to what has already been said.
Suarez is a div, but he's our div and to be successful on the pitch we need players of his ilk. Learn from our previous response and take the lead on this incident - play the hard line, fine him, issue a statement saying that it was an action unbefitting of a Liverpool football player and see where it goes. We need to swift and decisive and act on this, this evening, if not first thing.

It was annoying listening to Souness criticize Suarez when he did things in his career that would purposely hurt an opponent in a much nastier way.
However what I REALLY couldn't stand was him having the cheek to criticize in relation to it being the week of Hillsborough. No prick who sold his story to the *** has any right to ever use Hillsborough as a reason to have a go at anyone in any form of analysis.
