Players can, and will step up.

They have a team of World Class Players....We don't

THe Gulf in class between Suarez and the rest of our team is massive at the moment,

Yeah, both sides work really. Barca have a much better side than us capable of scoring more goals. Before Christmas if we didn't have Suarez we would be in big trouble, after Christmas not as much but we would be missed.

It's no coincidence that in a small dip in form for Suarez we failed to score in 2 games.

Am I a bad fan to think we will see a serious gobbing incident from him next season? I don't mean a Diuof spit, I mean a whole green mould effort from the back of his sinuses.

Like Shaggy said in a competitive football game I too turn aggressive: swear, shout and even try to (non-seriuosly) hurt people if I can. But as I have not been exposed to Suarez's "Picardia" I know when to draw the line. He doesn't and don't think he ever will.
          One tit for another.

I don't think it would be quite that bad but I get your point.
Being without Suarez and not having him to pick because we chose to sell him and reinvested in the squad to make it better all over are 2 completely different things though.

Yes, but Barcelona's play is designed to get the best out of Messi, as ours is with Suarez.

When the presence of a player as big as Suarez (or Messi) isn't on the pitch, it requires others to step up to the mark when they don't usually do, or wouldn't.

Arsenal fans shat themselves when Henry left, but Fabregas stepped up, Van Persie started stepping up. It'll be difficult at first, but it can be done.

We would actually be 11 points worse off without Suarez Goals

Without his Goals and Assists We would have 35Pts

But do the same for all the other ****e rag teams and take out there star players. Including Aston Villa and Reading and its far worse for other teams.

I lost it playing football last Weds, and although I threw a punch and not a bite I can empathise with Luis.

It would be. Take Suarez's goals out of the equation and we'd be up **** creek. League wise, he's scored 23 of our 61 goals, over a third of our total goals.

It was those abominations on your feet that caused you to lose your head.

Would we be playing with 10 men then if we took Suarez out of the equation?

Suarez is 1 of only 2 world class players we have. Gerrard is in the latter end of his career now. If you want to get anywhere, you just don't sell world class players. It really is that simple. Yeah LFC would continue if he left but I guarantee we'd drop a few levels again. Mainly because we no longer have the pull of attracting top top class players. We aren't going to pay the wages and we're a long way off Top 4

That's a **** comparison because Arsenal were in the CL when those 2 players left and could still attract a high calibre of player to replace them. We on the other hand have been out of the CL for nearly 4 years.
