Suarez is 1 of only 2 world class players we have. Gerrard is in the latter end of his career now. If you want to get anywhere, you just don't sell world class players. It really is that simple. Yeah LFC would continue if he left but I guarantee we'd drop a few levels again. Mainly because we no longer have the pull of attracting top top class players. We aren't going to pay the wages and we're a long way off Top 4

That's a **** comparison because Arsenal were in the CL when those 2 players left and could still attract a high calibre of player to replace them. We on the other hand have been out of the CL for nearly 4 years.

We can't attract high calibre players. The only reason we will is probably because of Suarez. I suspect he's probably a huge factor in us signing Eriksen.

Eduardo was garbage. Wenger attracts players by being in the Top 4 and the style of football, more so Top 4. It will go belly up for them if they miss out on Top 4. I'd like to see if they still manage to sign Gotze etc

Sell Suarez then it's going to be about building a team. It's pretty clear that these days you don't get the time or patience afforded to you to build a team

That's the point though I thought. You sell World Class players they are very, very difficult to replace. Even more so when you don't have the premier competition to attract them nor pay the big wages

To compare him to the greatest player Arsenal have ever had by a considerable margin is more than a little unfair, particularly given the short amount of time he had in this country up to the point when he broke his leg.
